Blogging here at VineSleuth Uncorked has been an amazing experience. But it is time to move on and make a few changes.

Don’t worry, I’m not leaving the internet, and neither are your favorite writers from VineSleuth Uncorked. You can find us at different places now, instead of here. With the launch of the Wine4.Me mobile app and the Wine4.Me blog earlier this year, we’ve moved your favorite VineSleuth Uncorked content to either the Wine4.Me blog or my personal blog, MomsToolbox, depending on the content and how personal it was to my story.

Here’s an explanation of what went where:

Wine4.Me Blog

The Wine4.Me blog now hosts all of our great wine pairing recipes from bloggers across the internet (as well as our own Mary Cressler, of Vindulge), stories behind the wines, party planning tips, wine country travel, and all you need to know about wine but might have been afraid to ask… or you asked, and no one really answered. Joe Roberts of 1WineDude has even joined our team of writers with interviews of industry-leading wine-makers.

The Wine4.Me blog is also where you’ll also get the latest news about the best wine app for casual wine drinkers, Wine4.Me.

MomsToolbox

MomsToolbox has been my ‘baby’ since just after my first child was born in 2001.

It started out as an email subscription newsletter to share mom tips and stories, and grew into a blog in 2007, and moved to MomsToolbox.com in 2008.

I am moving my firsthand experiences with wine to MomsToolbox, including winery and wine region visits (Here’s a link to my first winery visit ever as a writer. It was to King Estate and I was a bit, um, giddy about the whole experience, as you’ll see), wine judging, my tasting experiences, some of my recipe and pairing ideas and all that I’m learning in building Wine4.Me. (Launching a wine tech start-up has been quite an adventure!!)

MomsToolbox already hosted recipes, home ec tips, mom tips, ideas for helping others and improving your own life, and even quite a bit of faith-based studies and devotionals. (Yep, wine and faith DO mix!) I also write about travel with and without the kids. (Did you know my kids’ first ski experience was in Dubai?? Or that I bungee jumped in New Zealand once? Or, that I’ve slept in Cinderella’s Castle? All true.)
